• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens adhering to SOPs to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Provides excellent patient care through clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of caregivers of critical values.
• Maintains major automated equipment with calibration and troubleshooting; contacts vendors as needed.
• Performs required calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records of tests.
• Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with laboratory leaders.
• Assists in evaluation and documentation for validating new procedures and equipment.

Education
