Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA, upon hire.
• Preferred additional credentials in Medical Laboratory Science or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex tests.
• Analyzes specimens and provides data for clinical decisions.
• Maintains and troubleshoots automated equipment and coordinates vendor support as needed.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and documents results.
• Participates in proficiency testing and reviews results with lab leadership.
• Assists in evaluation and validation of new procedures and equipment.
