• Performs waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens adhering to SOPs.
• Reports results and provides clinical correlation of results to caregivers.
• Maintains and troubleshoots major automated equipment and notifies vendors for repairs as needed.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records.
• Participates in proficiency testing and reviews results with laboratory leaders.
• Assists in evaluation and documentation for validation of new procedures and equipment.
