Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Medical Laboratory Scientist/MLT for a 06+ month contract onsite in Wray, CO. Qualifications

• ASCP certification required.
• Certification as MLT or MLS required.
• Experience with general laboratory testing.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience performing arterial blood gas draws.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Comfortable participating in shared call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laboratory testing and specimen processing.
• Collect blood specimens through phlebotomy.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws.
• Process and handle specimens according to procedures.
• Conduct testing following QC and safety standards.
• Document results accurately and timely.
• Communicate critical/abnormal results per protocol.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Participate in shared night and weekend call coverage.
• Follow hospital, laboratory, and regulatory requirements.
