• Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program is required.
• 2 years MLS experience strongly preferred.
• MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification required (6 months acceptable in some cases).
• Other licensure options include AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology (6 months) required or accepted.
• M(ASCP) Microbiology certification if working in Microbiology (6 months) is required.

Work hours: PRN- Availability Monday through Friday 6:30am - 6:30pm. Covering PTO and call outs.

Here’s What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science preferred. Individuals hired as a CLS II prior to January 3, 2010 will be grandfathered to the MLS position with existing education. degree may be obtained within 3 months of hire is required

• Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program is required and

• 2 Years experience as MLS is strongly preferred

• MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist 6 Months is required Or

• MLS(ASCP) - Medical Lab Scientist 6 Months is required Or

• Other AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology 6 Months is required Or

Texas Health Southlake has served the community and surrounding areas of Grapevine, Colleyville, Trophy Club, Westlake, and Roanoke since opening in 2004. As Southlake’s first hospital, our multi-specialty surgical facility features 18 surgical specialties with 17 inpatient suites, six observation suites, six operating rooms, and a 24/7 emergency department serving northeast Tarrant County.
