Job summary

Vitalant is hiring Medical Laboratory Scientists for our high complexity testing reference laboratories in Tempe, AZ. We are recruiting MLS I-III level Scientists to join our Reference lab, performing immunohematology testing and supporting hospital transfusion services.

The role offers shift 2 hours 5:00 pm - 1:30 am with weekends/holidays rotating, with base wages of $32.17 to $42.55 per hour plus 9% second shift and 8% weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science or MLS certification required.
• ASCP MLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
• State licensure as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.
• Receive coaching and mentorship from managers invested in your career.
