Texas Health Kaufman seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the Laboratory Department. The role focuses on maintaining specimen integrity, adherence to quality guidelines, and mentoring students and staff. Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Tuesday through Friday 3:00pm–1:30am.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology or related science preferred; degree must be obtained within 3 months of hire
• Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program is required
• 2 Years experience in a Medical Laboratory is preferred
• MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) licenses required or grandfathered options
• Other licensure options listed (AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY, Philippine Board) 6 Months required
• M(ASCP) Microbiology certification if working in Microbiology is required

• Participates in orientation and training of students, volunteers, new employees and observers
