Tenet Healthcare in Tucson, AZ seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform and review tests on diverse specimens, report results, and participate in instrument maintenance and advanced troubleshooting. You will also serve as a resource to other laboratory personnel in a high-complexity clinical setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of acute-care lab experience, and registry eligibility or active status with ASCP, NCA, AMT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year medical laboratory technologist experience in acute care.
• Registered or registry eligible (ASCP, NCA, AMT or CSMLS) within 12 months of hire; equivalency evaluation by ECE, NACES or AICE for non-US trained personnel must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Process and test all types of laboratory specimens.
• Reviews and reports lab results.
• Performs operational duties, maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Acts as resource to other laboratory personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
