Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Certification eligibility via ASCP/NCA for MLT is desirable.
• Military medical laboratory training may qualify.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process blood samples and blood shipments.
• Prepare and dispense blood components; maintain records.
• Perform ABO/Rh antibody screening and compatibility testing.
• Conduct other assigned laboratory tasks as needed.
• Follow procedures with professional judgment in complex tests.
