Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking an OPS - Laboratory Courier I for the Main Campus in Gainesville, FL. The role supports Path Labs by safely transporting specimens, supplies, and reports, providing trusted service to clients and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Applicants should have a Florida driver license (CDL may be required for certain vehicles) and a minimum of 9th grade education; 12th grade is preferred. Excellent communication and basic medical terminology knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have basic communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Experience with product deliveries and fulfillment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and ensure maintenance and safety compliance.
• Maintain route sheets with stops, mileage, start and end times.
• Assist with new hire training and safety procedures.
