Job summary

NCH Healthcare System is seeking a full-time courier based in Naples, FL, responsible for picking up specimens from hospitals and delivering them to testing facilities. The role includes transporting supplies and reports, maintaining specimen integrity, and logging daily routes.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Florida driver’s license. Experience in courier work is preferred, with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adherence to state driving regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of courier experience preferred.
• Must have valid Florida driver's license and pass DMV check.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers specimens from hospitals and/or blood centers to laboratory facilities.
• Sort and transport specimens to maintain specimen integrity.
• Drives fleet vehicle following Florida laws.
• Picks up and transports supplies, mail, distribution and reports to designated locations.
• Uses radio communications device for messages.
• Complete daily log sheets and note deviations to routes.
• Report any client problems or complaints to Supervisor.
