Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to handle specimen intake, data entry into Nextech EMR, and slide preparation for physicians in a medical lab setting. You will also manage pathology reports, chart pulls, and documentation accuracy in a fast-paced dermatology environment.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, quality control support, and the ongoing maintenance of lab records and policies, with opportunities to assist in supply management and diagnostics coding

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• 1-2 years experience in lab or medical office setting.
• Understanding of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Intake and processing of specimens
• Input data into Electronic Medical Records Nextech
• Log incoming slides and prepares slides for physician
• Log Pathology Reports, accession and pull charts for physician review
• File slides and blocks
• Compliance to safety regulations
• Review all slides and documentation to ensure information is accurate
• May assist with maintenance of Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
• May assist with ordering laboratory supplies and appropriately store supplies
• May assist with maintenance of current policies and procedures for all lab functions
• May assist with the overall responsibility for maintenance and storage of all lab records and patient slides, according to law
• Input of diagnosis codes to prepare for finalizing reports for pathologists
• Any other duties as required to ensure QualDerm Partners' operations are successful
