Job summary

Harborview Medical Center, UW Medicine affiliate in Seattle, seeks a Medical Interpreter 1 (Spanish) to enable language access. This full-time role provides oral, sight and written interpretation across clinical encounters, helping patients understand care and complete forms.

The position requires high school graduation, two years of interpretation experience, and medical interpreter certification or qualification from WA DSHS, NBCTMI, or CCHI.

Responsibilities

• Provide sight translation in the presence of a provider and/or other medical staff.
• Assist patients to complete medical, financial, or other forms.
