Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three months or 480 hours of documented medical interpreting experience.
• Certification: CCHI or NBCMI within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret critical medical information for providers, patients, and caregivers in person or by phone.
• Facilitate communication between providers and LEP/NEP patients during inpatient and outpatient visits.
