Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of a 40-hour medical interpreter training per NCIHC Code of Ethics. Bridging the Gap preferred.
• Valid certificate showing proficiency in English and at least one target language.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between English and target language in medical/settings.
• Convey full meaning and tone without added or omitted information.
• Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards in all interactions.
• Perform sight translation of documents requiring patient signatures.
