Medical Intermediate Critical Care Registered Nurse - Sign on Bonus Eligible
The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe care. They practice in a clinical environment managed by Nurse Managers and leaders, supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. The practice framework is guided by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, evidence-based practice, and research, with RN competencies derived from these models and aligned with Wellstar Values.
All RN Clinical Nurses Critical Care are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the nursing practice outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, implementing the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards from the American Nurses Association. As part of the patient services team, they uphold patient advocacy, adhere to system policies and procedures, and support service excellence goals.
Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all WellStar policies, standards, and codes of conduct.
Diploma from an accredited nursing program or a Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred.
Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience required; prior patient care experience preferred.
Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, ability to respond to emergencies, excellent time management, and critical thinking skills.
