Job summary

INDIGO is seeking a detail-oriented, non-clinical, remote healthcare teammate to speak with patients, collect and organize medical histories, and help maintain accurate records. You will follow templates and training to ensure consistency and quality across cases.

Responsibilities include outbound calls in English and Spanish, documenting histories precisely, reviewing records for completeness, and collaborating with the operations team to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical scribing or healthcare administrative roles (nice to have).
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to follow structured workflows and templates.

About the role

This is a non clinical, remote healthcare role that is well suited for individuals who want meaningful work and real exposure to healthcare operations.

You will speak directly with patients, collect and organize medical histories, and help ensure medical records are accurate and complete. The work is structured, repeatable, and supported by templates and training.

• Conduct outbound calls with patients (in English and Spanish) to gather detailed medical and injury histories

• Listen actively and document information with a high level of accuracy using structured templates and internal systems

• Review medical records for completeness, clarity, and internal consistency

• Organize and standardize medical information to meet quality and documentation standards

• Ensure patient histories are thorough, consistent, and easy for physicians to interpret

• Review your work carefully to maintain a high standard of accuracy

• Follow established workflows and documentation protocols
