Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists and transports patients using wheelchair or stretcher.
• Carries patients’ personal items when needed.
• Verifies patient identity by name, birthday and armband.
• Documents completion times at Nurses' Station and ED.
• Transports patients to Medical Imaging promptly.
• Stays with patient if technologist is absent.
• Participates in CQAI program of the department.
• Maintains compliance with state, federal and hospital policies.
• Upholds safety and care standards for all.
