Job summary

Zekai is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging & Segmentation Specialist (3D Slicer) for a remote, contract role. You will use 3D Slicer to perform real-world medical imaging tasks, segment datasets, create masks and 3D reconstructions, and document your workflows step by step.

This position supports AI training projects, requires strong hands-on experience with 3D Slicer, CT/MRI datasets, DICOM, and the ability to explain workflows clearly.

Qualifications

• Proficient with 3D Slicer and able to record your screen while performing tasks.
• Experience in medical image segmentation, annotation and visualization.
• Strong understanding of CT, MRI, DICOM workflows and related imaging tasks.
• Ability to create accurate segmentation masks and 3D reconstructions.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher and ability to explain workflows clearly.
• Master's or PhD in Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering or related field.

Your expertise will help improve how AI systems understand medical imaging.

Preferred Qualifications

• A relevant master's degree or PhD in Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
• Clinical or research experience working with medical imaging datasets.
• Experience with medical image processing and 3D visualization.
