micro1 Inc. is seeking a Medical Imaging & Segmentation Specialist (3D Slicer) to support an AI training project.

This remote contractor role focuses on applying 3D Slicer to real-world medical imaging tasks and documenting workflows step by step for transparency and reproducibility. You will analyze CT and MRI datasets, create and edit segmentation masks, 3D models, and volume renderings, perform annotations and quality checks, and craft precise prompts outlining imaging workflows.

Your expertise will help improve how AI systems understand medical imaging.

Scope of Work

1. Analyze and segment medical images using 3D Slicer.
2. Work with CT, MRI, and other medical imaging datasets.
3. Create and edit segmentation masks, 3D models, and volume renderings.
4. Perform image annotation, visualization, and quality checks.
5. Complete advanced 3D Slicer tasks and explain your workflows step by step.
6. Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for medical imaging workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong professional hands-on experience using 3D Slicer.
2. Experience with medical image segmentation, annotation, and visualization.
3. Good understanding of CT, MRI, DICOM, and medical imaging workflows.
4. Ability to create accurate segmentation masks and 3D reconstructions.
5. Access to 3D Slicer and ability to record your screen while completing tasks.
6. English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
7. Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

1. A relevant master's degree or PhD in Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
3. Clinical or research experience working with medical imaging datasets.
4. Experience with medical image processing and 3D visualization.
