Job summary

Ngenium is seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and service medical imaging equipment across healthcare settings in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on reliability, uptime, and supporting clinical teams with timely technical guidance.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and calibration on X-ray, CT, MRI, and other modalities, collaborate with hospital staff, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and calibrations.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking, and software diagnostics.
• Ability to read technical documentation and service manuals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to work independently and manage technical service responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and performance testing on medical imaging systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system faults.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment documentation.
• Ensure equipment meets relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Support inventory management, including spare parts and equipment records.
• Work alongside clinical and technical teams to minimise equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with external service providers and technical support teams when required.
• Provide technical guidance and share expertise with other engineers where appropriate.
