Job summary

nGenium is seeking a Mid-Level Imaging Service Engineer to service, maintain and install medical imaging equipment across X-Ray, CT, MRI and related systems within a healthcare setting in Eastern Nebraska. You will collaborate with clinical teams and engineers to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer, and networking troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience across multiple imaging modalities (X-Ray, CT, MRI, Cath Lab, C‑Arms).
• Experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install medical imaging equipment across multiple modalities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, calibration, and performance verification.
• Diagnose faults at electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer, and system levels.
• Minimize equipment downtime and ensure patient safety.
• Communicate equipment status and repair progress with clinical teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and third-party service providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment histories.
• Support equipment installations, incoming inspections, and inventory management.
• Work with clinical and technical specialists on performance and safety.
• Participate in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
