Siemens Healthineers in Boise, ID is seeking a Customer Service Engineer (Union) to service MR/CT imaging equipment and lead preventive maintenance with minimal supervision. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair systems while training operators to ensure peak performance, and manage territory budgets and assets.

The role emphasizes strong customer relations, diagnostic instrument expertise, and the ability to work in a union environment with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM CS website-Engineer Tools).
• 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive day and night with good record.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing.
• Strong judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; broad instrument system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Service MR/CT imaging equipment in the Boise, ID area; role level based on experience.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely repairs and operator training for optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage territory financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and inventory.
• Handle company assets (car, phone, computer, tools, parts) and maintain customer relations.
• Perform administrative duties accurately and maintain proper business relationships.
