Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced Medical ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. You will deliver direct patient care within the RN scope, communicate therapeutically, and support the hospital’s mission and vision under the HCA Healthcare network.

You will participate in a multidisciplinary care planning team, oversee patient care assignments, and respond promptly to physician and staff inquiries.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.
• monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
• instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
• identify nursing problems and plan individualized patient care with an interdisciplinary approach.
