Job summary

Solvita is seeking a Processing Technician to produce grafts from living and cadaveric tissue at our Kettering, OH facility. The role focuses on precision, documentation, and teamwork to ensure the highest standards for transplantation products.

This first shift position offers starting pay of $21.00/hour, with opportunities to work across Traditional, Cellular, CNC, Dental, and Birth Tissue areas and contribute to life-saving medical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work with living and cadaveric tissue/bone with care and precision.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions; report figures accurately.

Responsibilities

This position, internally titled as a Processing Technician, offers the chance to be at the forefront of medical manufacturing, directly contributing to products for transplantation that save and enhance patient lives.

Processing Technicians in our Kettering location work in the following areas: Traditional, Cellular, CNC, Dental, and Birth Tissue.

This is a first shift role. Pay starting at $21.00/ hour.

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment and Physical Activities

• Requires the ability to work with living and cadaveric tissue/bone.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams,
• Exhibit high attention to detail and precision in performing tasks and maintaining documentation.
• Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
• Ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
• Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
• Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
• Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
• Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
