Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: New Bern, NC

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays - 8am to 5pm

Compensation: Starting at $16/hour (Pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in New Bern, we want them to have an exceptional experience — starting at the front desk. As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Your role can significantly impact each patient's care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit and next appointment during check-out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required
