Job summary

RiseMe in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Part Time Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and manage front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will support scheduling, communicate with insurance entities, and handle co-pays during visits to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role runs weekdays with compensation starting at $17 per hour, pending experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of medical office experience, insurance verification experience, and scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance, translation services, market leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out


• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone


• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team


• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications
