Job summary

Ascension is seeking a patient service role in a medical setting to provide administrative and clerical support. You will greet patients, check them in and out, and verify demographics.

You will obtain insurance authorizations, schedule appointments, and handle charges, co-pays, and daily reconciliation. General office support completes the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of related experience.
• Licensure/certification can substitute education or experience when applicable.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
