Join us as a Medical Front Office - Office Assistant at NovaCare Rehabilitation

We are seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to support our front desk operations and administrative tasks at our center in Stevens, PA.

Position Overview
  • Location: Stevens, PA
  • Employment Type: Per Diem/PRN (Hours not guaranteed)
  • Schedule: Weekdays (hours vary), 2-3 evenings until 7 pm
  • Starting Compensation: $14/hr, based on experience
Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, schedule patient appointments
  • Obtain and verify patient information for accurate records and billing
  • Prepare patient intake forms prior to appointments
  • Greet patients, family members, and visitors, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the center, ensuring patient care materials are available
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
  • Assist with faxing, filing, and inventory management
  • Keep linens and restroom supplies stocked
  • Maintain disinfectant supplies for the gym area
Qualifications
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Healthcare experience, 1 year of scheduling experience
