Gastro Health is seeking a Front Desk Representative to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will greet patients, manage the practice management system, verify insurance and referrals, and support the care team to keep schedules on track.

The role emphasizes patient service in a medical setting with no weekends or evenings and offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 2+ years experience in medical practice or similar setting.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience desired.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients in a pleasant and timely manner.
• Use practice management system to create provider records and scan documents including insurance cards and IDs.
• Verify registration forms are complete and obtain physician information.
• Ensure patient has current referral and obtain one if necessary.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to visits.
• Collect copayments and post payments; balance daily batches.
• Maintain lobby area neat and stocked with materials.
• Support physicians and care center to keep on schedule; notify of appointment changes.
• Answer calls, route messages, and manage tasks as needed.
• Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments.
• Handle voicemails and rescheduling as required.
• Assist with record requests and manage fax inbox.
