Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year medical office/reception experience preferred.
• Experience in primary care is strongly preferred.
• Familiar with EMR systems; Athena is a plus.
• Strong communication and HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with courtesy and professionalism.
• Coordinate appointments and manage scheduling.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; collect co-pays.
• Process registrations and postings in the EMR.
• Answer calls and route messages; maintain front desk.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
