The Medical Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a healthcare setting, playing a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. This position is responsible for managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and handling communications between patients and medical staff to ensure smooth operational flow. The associate must maintain accurate patient records and process insurance information with attention to detail and confidentiality. By effectively coordinating administrative tasks and addressing patient inquiries, the role supports the overall patient experience and contributes to the DAV’s reputation for quality care. Ultimately, the Medical Front Desk Associate ensures that all front desk operations are conducted professionally, efficiently, and in compliance with healthcare regulations.
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist utilizes strong organizational skills daily to manage appointment schedules and patient records efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, medical staff, and insurance providers, facilitating clear and compassionate exchanges. Proficiency with EHR systems and office software enables the receptionist to handle data entry, billing, and appointment management seamlessly. This is a full-time position. Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. , and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Travel is required to fulfill any workforce shortages at the Practice’s other clinical sites.
