Job summary

A dermatology practice is seeking a Medical Receptionist to deliver friendly, professional front-desk service. You will greet patients, manage check-ins/outs, schedule appointments, and collect payments to ensure a smooth clinic experience.

You should be highly organized, able to multitask, and provide an exceptional patient experience from arrival to departure. Prior reception experience in a medical setting is preferred and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients accurately and warmly.
• Schedule appointments and maintain clinic calendar.

• Answer phone and in-person inquiries with professional service.
• Support providers by coordinating patient flow and communications.

Deliver friendly and professional customer service, whether you're chatting in person, over the phone, or sending a message.

Qualifications/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Prior medical receptionist experience preferred.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction. We will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
