Select Medical in Thorndale, PA is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients at the front desk and support both patient and business operations. You will help ensure a smooth patient experience from arrival through checkout, handling registrations, schedules, and basic administrative tasks.

The role offers a part-time schedule (Monday–Friday; hours vary with some evenings until 7pm) with compensation ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
