Virginia Cancer Specialists, an affiliate of McKesson Specialty Health and US Oncology, seeks a highly energetic Full Time Receptionist for our Arlington office. The role requires excellent customer service, organization, and multi-tasking in a medical office setting.

Under supervision, you will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance information, register new patients, handle phone lines, collect payments, and support front office operations to maintain an efficient, confidential

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, professional manner.
• Obtain demographic and insurance information and copies of insurance cards and ID.
• Register new patients and prepare charts; notify nursing staff of arrivals.
• Answer multiple phone lines and route calls accordingly.
• Collect co-pays and other amounts due; issue receipts.
• Maintain lobby area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with policies.
