Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a full-time helicopter pilot to provide medical air transport services. The role requires FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and Class II Medical, with extensive helicopter hours and PIC time.

The team collaborates with dispatch and flight crews to ensure safe patient transport. Eligible candidates can expect a comprehensive incentive package and a schedule of 14 days on/14 days off, with on-duty housing and ongoing training to maintain high safety

Qualifications

• Must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Must hold a Helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold a FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Total flight hours: 2,000.
• Helicopter hours: 1,500.
• Helicopter PIC hours: 1,000.
• Turbine helicopter hours: 500.
• Night hours: 100 unaided or 50 unaided + 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely with a medical flight team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain MTC and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change info to the next pilot and team per Med-Trans change board.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
