Job Details

This is a full-time, work-from-home position. The candidate must be located in the Cedar Rapids, IA area due to regular local travel (80%) for in-person patient appointments.

Role Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and competency in case management standards of practice.
• Use advanced knowledge of injuries, medications, comorbidities, treatment options, and job duties to advise on treatment plans.
• Interview disabled persons to assess recovery status and injury origin.
• Collaborate with physicians/providers to create and implement individual treatment plans.
• Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties for early return to work.
• Evaluate and modify case goals based on patient progress.
• Manage workload independently, prioritize cases, and decide on case management strategies.
• Attend appointments, prepare status updates, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
• 2+ years clinical practice preferred; workers’ compensation experience a plus.
• Ability to advocate effectively, work independently, and communicate well in writing.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Reliable transportation and internet, with ability to travel locally.
