Job summary

Integra Healthcare Equipment in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to operate a 16 ft box truck, assemble and educate on DME equipment, and ensure timely patient deliveries. You will schedule routes by phone, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety and company policies.

Required are a valid driver's license, DOT certification, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and flexibility for afternoons, weekends, and on-call shifts. Competitive benefits are offered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License without any major infractions within 3 years.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Must be insurable and meet insurance carrier requirements.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work afternoons, rotating weekends, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16 ft box truck daily and keep delivery truck stocked and organized.
• Contact patients by telephone to schedule deliveries and plan routes.
• Communicate professionally with customers, clients, and patients while being empathetic.
• Manage routes to meet delivery time frames.
• Assemble medical equipment and educate caregivers/patients on safe use.
• Install, pickup, and service basic DME equipment.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Assist training of new employees and follow company policies.
