Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Medical Equipment Planner 2 to support analysis, design, and implementation of medical equipment for healthcare projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions while working within project budgets.

Responsibilities include leading MEQ meetings, documenting progress, and preparing cost estimates. Strong communication, BIM/Design tools proficiency, and travel up to 30% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Clinical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 4+ years in building design or medical equipment consulting.
• Knowledge of hospital/clinic department functions.
• Proficiency with medical equipment software tools (4Tower, Attainia, Bluebeam).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships by gathering project requirements and communicating technical information effectively.
• Support consulting project execution including planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions, client instructions, and project design progress.
• Analyze low to moderate complexity engineering tasks and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical, efficient solutions.
• Lead MEQ meetings to finalize equipment lists and cost estimates.
• Develop procurement schedules, write MEQ specifications for bid comparison, and recommend equipment options to support purchasing decisions.
