Summary

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Packer/Facilities Assistant to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for cleaning and packing sensitive ophthalmic and medical equipment, supporting service technicians, and maintaining an organized warehouse and facility environment. This position requires a high level of care, accuracy, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Cosmetic Cleaning:

• Clean incoming and outgoing medical equipment to professional cosmetic standards
• Handle sensitive and delicate components with care

Packing:

• Safely and accurately pack delicate ophthalmic and medical equipment
• Use appropriate packaging methods and materials to ensure secure transport
• Equipment may be packed in boxes, on pallets, or in custom-built crates , depending on size, fragility & destination
• Accurately label and document items for shipping and tracking
• Assist service technicians with moving equipment and organization
• Support basic setup and breakdown of equipment when required

Warehouse Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and packaging materials
• Dispose of waste materials in a safe and responsible manner

Facilities Support:

• Help with general facility upkeep including restocking, minor repairs, and organizing work areas
• Keep detailed notes on equipment, inventory, and facility status

Other Duties:

• Pick up and deliver equipment as needed
• Assist with cleaning and organizing service vehicles
• Attention to detail – nothing gets past you, especially when handling sensitive equipment
• Strong note-taking and documentation skills – accurate logs and records are essential
• Multi-tasking ability – manage tasks across cleaning, packing, facilities, and logistics
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Able to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work on your feet for extended periods

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical equipment, warehouse, or facilities role preferred
• Familiarity with handling fragile or sensitive items is a plus
• Basic computer or inventory software skills a bonus

Job Type: Full-time
