Job summary

AdvaCare Systems in Addison, IL is seeking a Service Technician to deliver, set up, and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment. You will drive a company 16’ box truck, install equipment safely, and train patients and caregivers on usage with a friendly, professional demeanor.

You may perform minor repairs in the field and must complete orders in our web-based inventory system. Overtime, rotating on-call shifts, and weekends/evenings are required; a DOT Medical Card and a clean driving record are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license for at least 5 years.
• 1+ years of delivery and/or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous work.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Card required.
• Clean driving record and criminal background; pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install medical equipment in a safe, timely manner.

Job DescriptionThe Service Technician is a driving position responsible for the delivery, set up, pick up and troubleshooting of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).Job DutiesDeliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.Safe operation of a company-owned 16’ Box Truck.Instructing patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.Minor repair and equipment troubleshooting while in the field.Thorough and accurate completion of all orders on a proprietary web-based inventory management system.Shift InformationService Technician candidates must be willing/able to work overtime hours, as well as be available for rotating On-Call shifts, which include Weekends and Evenings.Company vehicles are equipped with onboard dash cameras (frontward facing and in-cabin) for safety purposes.Work LocationThe Addison warehouse is located at 355 S.
