Job summary

AdvaCare Systems is seeking a Service Technician in Addison, IL to deliver, install, and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment (DME). This driving role requires operating a 16' box truck and providing instruction to patients and caregivers on equipment use.

The position involves overtime, on-call shifts including weekends/evenings, and a signing bonus. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401k with match, and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ with a driver's license for 5+ years.
• 1+ years of Delivery and/or Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to lift an average of 50 pounds and perform strenuous work.
• Basic phone/computer skills.
• Ability to receive and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Card.
• All candidates must possess a clean driving record and criminal background.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.

The Service Technician is a driving position responsible for the delivery, set up, pick up and troubleshooting of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).

Job Duties

• Deliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.


• Safe operation of a company-owned 16' Box Truck.


• Instructing patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.


• Minor repair and equipment troubleshooting while in the field.


• Thorough and accurate completion of all orders on a proprietary web-based inventory management system.

Shift Information

• Service Technician candidates must be willing/able to work overtime hours, as well as be available for rotating On-Call shifts, which include Weekends and Evenings.


• Company vehicles are equipped with onboard dash cameras (frontward facing and in-cabin) for safety purposes.

Work Location

The Addison warehouse is located at 355 S. Fairbank St., Addison, IL 60101.
