Job summary

AdvaCare Systems is seeking a Service Technician to deliver, install, and service durable medical equipment in the Milwaukee area. The role requires safe operation of a company vehicle, customer-friendly instruction, and accurate field documentation.

The position includes overtime and rotating on-call shifts, with a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits. A valid driver’s license and DOT card are required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license for 5+ years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Clean driving record and pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Perform minor repairs and equipment troubleshooting in the field.
• Complete orders accurately on a web-based inventory management system.
• Be prepared for overtime and rotating On-Call shifts including weekends and evenings.

Job DescriptionThe Service Technician is a driving position responsible for the delivery, set up, pick up and troubleshooting of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).Job DutiesDeliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.Safe operation of a company-owned 16’ Box Truck.Instructing patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.Minor repair and equipment troubleshooting while in the field.Thorough and accurate completion of all orders on a proprietary web-based inventory management system.Shift InformationService Technician candidates must be willing/able to work overtime hours, as well as be available for rotating On-Call shifts, which include Weekends and Evenings.Company vehicles are equipped with onboard dash cameras (frontward facing and in-cabin) for safety purposes.Work LocationThe Milwaukee service area warehouse is currently located at 6822 S. 112th Street, Franklin, WI 53132.BenefitsAdvaCare Systems offers excellent starting pay, access to excellent health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance offerings, and a top-notch 401k plan that includes a company match.
