Job summary

National HME is seeking Medical Service Technicians to service the Washington, DC area. The role involves driving a 16-foot box truck or van, delivering oxygen and DME, and setting up equipment at patient homes with instruction on proper use.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Clean motor vehicle record with no major violations in the past 5 years.
• Subject to a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds.
• 24/7 operation with rotating on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maintain company vehicle (16-foot box truck or van).
• Deliver, unload, and set the equipment to full functionality.
• Review basic equipment operation and instruct patients/caregivers on proper use and care.
• Prepare truck for delivery by pulling stock and loading equipment.
• Adhere to DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to Oxygen and DME.
• Foster professional working relationships and maintain timeliness and courtesy.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
