Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time deliveries to UPMC facilities with quality products delivered clean and undamaged to designated areas
• Manage all medical equipment to ensure proper maintenance by performing quality control checks, preventative maintenance, cleaning/sterilizing techniques, and delivery/pickup preparation
• Utilize system technology for up-to-date record-keeping of all work activities into the computerized maintenance system
• Lift/push heavy objects, load/unload equipment onto trucks daily, and operate up to 26' box trucks
• Deliver products to hospitals and drive between UPMC facilities while following infection control protocols and regulatory guidelines

We are currently seeking full-time,Medical Equipment Delivery Techsbased out of UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh during daylight hours.This role provides the opportunity for both experienced individuals and those looking for an entry-level opportunity to grow in their careers.

Available schedules will be discussed in further detail during interview.

Schedules may include:

• Monday - Friday 7 am - 3 pm
• Monday - Friday 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm
• Monday-Friday 3 pm - 11 pm
• Thursday, Friday, Monday 10 am - 6 pm OR Friday, Monday, Tuesday 10 am - 6 pm BOTH including Saturday/Sunday 8 am - 4 pm

In this role, you will manage all tasks associated with the movement of supplies and equipment throughout the UPMC Health System facilities, vendors, and other outside parties. You'll also provide verification of orders, maintain accurate inventory levels, and provide assets to specified departments. Lastly, this positionis responsible for driving up to a 26-foot box truck.

Responsibilities:

• Ensurecustomer service levels are met through on-time deliveries at respective UPMC facilities and provide quality products clean and free of damage to the designated areas

• Manage all medical equipment to ensure proper maintenance by performing quality control checks, preventative maintenance, cleaning/sterilizing techniques, and delivery/pickup preparation

• Utilize system technology for up-to-date record-keeping of all work activities into the computerized maintenance system
• Lift/push heavy objects up ramps, load/unload equipment onto trucks daily, stand/kneel/squat for extended periods of time during equipment processing with no work limitations

• Deliver product to hospitals operating up to 26' box trucks and maintain all service records for SCM vehicles

• Drive between all UPMC facilities
• Follow set UPMC Infection control protocols and standards while adhering to all OSHA, HIPAA, and compliance/regulatory guidelines as applicable.
