Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients and provide equipment setup and patient education. The role includes on-call rotations, maintaining vehicle safety, and adhering to FDA and DOT guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of professional driving experience, and strong customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
• Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to routes and schedules
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with transportation laws
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety
• Build strong relations with patients and internal teams
• Keep vehicle and warehouse clean and organized per FDA protocols
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for medical emergencies
