Job summary

Lincare is hiring a Delivery Driver in the United States to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, provide equipment setup, and educate patients on proper usage.

The role requires adherence to orientation checklists, route and schedule discipline, vehicle safety, and strong patient relations, with on-call work during evenings and weekends. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift significant weight are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse per FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for patient emergencies.
