Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and provide patient education on equipment use. The role includes following routes, maintaining vehicles, and upholding high patient service standards.

Responsibilities include on-call coverage during evenings and weekends, complying with DOT/FDA regulations, and maintaining a professional image while supporting a compassionate healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience required.
• Home care/health care background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse; follow FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for patient emergencies according to policies.
