Job summary

University of Florida is seeking an Academic Program Specialist I to support undergraduate medical education programs across Gainesville and Jacksonville. This role coordinates clinical learning experiences, manages scheduling, evaluations, grading, and student records, and collaborates with faculty and clinical sites to ensure high-quality educational experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience working with UF operating systems and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for clinical clerkships, electives, and preceptorships for UF Medical and PA students.
• Develop and maintain learning management platforms and evaluation systems.
• Support the medical student clerkship curriculum and advise students with directors on clerkships.
• Oversee grading systems and track evaluations for students, residents, and faculty.
• Manage grade committees, posting scores and feedback across systems.
