Job summary

Carle Illinois College of Medicine is seeking a Medical Education Program Coordinator to support foundational science courses and related curricular elements. The role works under the Foundational Sciences Manager and interfaces with faculty, students, simulation staff, and other university programs.

The coordinator will manage course materials, learning objectives, and instructional activities across pre-clerkship curricula, ensuring adherence to policies and effective curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in medical education, education, communications, or related field.
• TAGME certification qualifies for level advancement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage foundational science courses and learning objectives.
• Organize instructional activities and materials for pre-clerkship courses.
• Support instructional technologies and course materials in Canvas/online LMS.
• Maintain collaboration with faculty, staff, and student services to improve curriculum delivery.
• Provide NBME proctoring and compliance support as needed.
• Attend curricular and staff meetings and maintain course documentation.
